Where Old World Craftsmanship
& Modern Technology Work Hand in Hand
About Us
The Beginning
Prior to forming Rona Precision Inc., Ron Alber, the founder, had worked for 15 years in machining & manufacturing shops as a young man. It was during these early years that he trained with some of the finest craftsman in this field. After completing his education he was employed by Grumman Aircraft as a CNC programmer & methods engineer for the F14 & Lunar Module. After that he then went on to do consulting work for Republic Aircraft, Sikorsky Aircraft and Sperry. With his visionary view on manufacturing he decided to bring CNC technology to the job shop environment and created Rona Precision Inc. in 1978.
Craftsmanship and Technology
With over 50 years of experience, Rona Precision's founder believes that in order to produce a quality product traditional craftsmanship must be used and combined with the latest in machine equipment technology. This is why all employees are trained in traditional machining practices so the end result has that high standard of craftsmanship quality. As for our CNC machining centers, they are replaced every 6 years with the latest in equipment technology available. As technology changes craftsmanship must remain the same. Here at Rona Precision all employees take pride in adhering to the same principles that we were founded on.
Quality Standards
We care about our customer's success. Producing a quality product has always been our number one priority here at Rona Precision. With this being the case, in 2012 when we got on board with the global quality standards and implemented ISO 9001, it was a seamless transition. We have since stepped up our standards even higher and again seamlessly transitioned to AS9100 certification. Our quality team has also received DSQR certification from General Electric Aviation. All products go through a rigorous inspection procedure with our Mititoyo CMM and are certified. Any product can also be accompanied by a FAI if needed.
